I received as a gift an "eTrex H" model.
One cannot load maps into it.
It has 17 hours of expected life in the field using two AA batteries.

Why would someone buy one of these ?
Now knowing what is unsatisfactory about this unit; where can one go to read about other models with more favorable options ?
