Coach adjustments?

I’m running a 10 miler in February with a reachable pace of 10:00 minute miles pace. I told Garmin Coach my 5 days I will run- TWThFSu. This week I see no workout on Thursday. Did it read my mind? I’d love to cross train tomorrow! When I first set up my plan, it would not allow me to choose 4 days, so I begrudgingly accepted 5 days. I edited my workout TARGET to AUTO. I just read it can take some time for the software to adjust. I had some crazy impossible run paces assigned by Garmin last week and I kept saying afterwards that I felt WEAK and that it was overly DIFFICULT on the spinner. Does the coach skip days on purpose? Does it use my run ratings in its algorithm?
