Wrist heart rate chosen over external

I have an activity with external heart rate recorded , but garmin connect chosen to use wrist rate instead how any way to choose correct one after uploading from the watch (Fenix 7 Pro, HRM Pro+). Any way to fix it ?

You might be able to fix your hr after the fact using a tool like Fit File Repair tool (not free) or https://www.fitedit.io/, although it might be very tedious as I don't think either of tools will let you automatically copy all the values for the external heart rate field to the heart rate field. I imagine that if it was possible at all with those tools, you'd have to manually edit each data point.

However, I don't think there's any point, since any hr-related training metrics won't be recalculated anyway.

Probably the best thing to do is disable dynamic source switching, so that the watch always uses the external hr monitor. At least that will prevent this problem from happening in the future.
