OK...so I got my first Nuvi this past weekend...and have started tryign to figure it out. I was able to download and use some of the vehicle icons from the Garmin Garage....but also wanted to pick up a new voice or 2:) I download them like the Garmin site advises....save them to the Voice Folder when my Nuvi is hooked up.....cycle on the device...goto the Voice Setting under tools...and search for YETI.....not there....I hook back up to the PC....open the Voice Folder and there is YETI in the same place as all the other voices? Dr Nightmare...same thing...Squirlly...same thing....
Any Clues?
Also, is there any big problem with deleting all the voices and text versions and keyboard versions that I will never use....i.e. Cantonese, German, Japanese....I don't plan to learn over 100 languages....so will taking them off the Nuvi really cause any issues?
