About to upgrade map on Nuvi 500 (City Navigator Lower 49 States NT 2009+Topo 2008) and buy additional Northwest TOPO. But, just discovered MapSource. Got it up and running with waypoints and data from GPS, but the map doesn't want to upload to MapSource. I've unlocked everything. Only MS base map shows. Have cruised forums, and it seems you have to buy maps on CD/DVD to have them available on PC MapSource. Honestly, that sounds wrong. But, want to make sure I buy the right thing. MapSource looks pretty cool and the keyboard on my laptop is MUCH nicer to use. Any help or wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
