Running workouts: remove last recovery in run repeat

I create workouts from the web interface on my PC.
Until a few months ago, the removal of the last recovery phase in repetitions was optional via a checkbox.
Now the checkbox has disappeared.
In older workouts where I hadn’t enabled it, I go through all the recovery phases, while in newly created workouts, the last recovery phase is automatically removed without giving me the option to choose.
Would it be possible to restore the checkbox?

  • ... and I also tested a workout with multiple repeats, and a run directly after a repeat, just to see whether the last recovery would be skipped everywhere, or only at the end (see below the workout structure). It works as expected, and the recovery is skipped only at the last repeat, just before the cooldown. All other recoveries were preserved. That's good enough for me, and I am happy with this functionality.

    1. Warm-up
    2. 2x repeat run + recovery
    3. 2x repeat run + recovery
    4. run
    5. 2x repeat run + recovery
    6. Cool-down
  • So if you say that the skip last recovery only applies before the cool down, that would make sense, but what I was trying to achieve yesterday

    1. Warm up

    2. 6 x 200 run, 200 recovery, except the last recovery that is a 400 recovery

    3. 6 x 200 run, 200 recovery

    4. Cool down

In point 2, I would like to say skip last recovery and add in a 400 recovery.

In point 3, it doesn't really matter if the last recovery is skipped, because it's followed by a cool down.

I managed to programme this, but it was a lot more complicated than it's supposed to be.

  • Thank you. I will give this a go!
