Hi Garmin experts,
I am 51 and my daily maintenance calories are about 3500 kcal. I was an apple watch user for eleven years and the estimation was only about 100-200 kcal off, but now I have a Enduro 3 and my daily calculated calories are off by 300-500 kcal.
The activity calories are about the same like before on the apple watch, but the resting calories are much lower. I use MFP and increased my daily calorie goal, but the goal is not synchronized with garmin connect, only the calorie intake. The highest daily calorie goal in garmin connect seems to be 2350 kcal, why is this?
I set my activity class to 10, but nothing changed, I disconnected MFP and reconnected, still no change.
My daily calorie intake is 3300 kcal and I lose weight, which is documented in garmin connect, but the system still shows me, that I am in a severe calorie surplus, this data is useless and frustrating. I wear my watch 24 hours a day and track every activity with the watch?
Do I have to cheat on my age and size to get correct data, or will the data be corrected by the system after a certain time, because it is obviously wrong?
Can I do something about it? Any suggestions?
Thanks, Nick
