Activity name matching the race name

I am not sure if this is the right place for this...

Is there a way to get my activity name to match the race name I have entered, and scheduled, in Garmin Connect? They already link (most of the time) but the names don't match. I could have sworn they did at some point but they don't any more.

I could be wrong, but I have never seen the names match.

If your activity name setting is "Workout name" and the race name is the workout name for the workout you start then you should get the race name as the activitiy name.

Did you create a workout that you named to the race name?

Oh snap. I misread what you wrote. I did not, in fact, create a workout with the race name.

As soon as I selected the Run activity, the race name was shown on the screen, so i assumed that was going to work. It did automatically link the activity to the race so there is that
