can't import file data

Beginning a few days ago, Garmin Connect (web) stopped its ability to import file data (neither .tcx nor .fit activities).  Automatic Wi-Fi and cellular data uploads still work, but manual file imports do not.  This is a recent bug and I've read other complaints on forums.  I'm using the latest Microsoft Edge Browser.  Suggestions to try other browsers are ridiculous.  Just fix your bug and notify users when the problem has been resolved.  Thank you.

  • I would try a different browser, like Firefox just to test. If you're still unable to import the activity into Garmin Connect, attach the file to this thread. We can take a look.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
  • I didn't change my browser or anything else.  i tried importing the file yesterday morning and it successfully uploaded via Garmin Connect.  Thank you to whoever fixed the problem.
