Garmin Cycling Coach schedule workouts miss power zone in some parts/repeats e.g. Rest period devoid of power

For some parts of the Coach workouts power is not defined, meaning that sometimes the rest period has the trainer getting stuck at interval power level.

A rest period should still have a defined power zone/level, as this would get the trainer at a “rest level” and not in a no man’s land of wattages.

  • I noted that sometimes its filled in and sometimes it isn't. The workouts where it has wattages trainer responds correctly.
If it not filled in i think trainer defaults back to a 0% incline but if you don't have a cassette at the back but a swift cog and you want to keep you cadence up it's like pedaling at 200+W. In no way does this corresponds with a rest. If you keep the legs still to rest it's impossible to do the sprint part.  Rest block should correspond with at zone 1 wattage.

  • To be complete, haven’t got the mishap since a couple of weeks.

But then also stopped checking since … into the training.

Still one going, will check the program, if it includes “empty” periods.
