Hello,

I request a possibility to import my rowing results into your system. The data is stored in a .csv file. Here are a few examples inclouding the translation of the fealds:
view also the attached .csv !

Concept2 is a manufacturer of rowing equipment based in Vermont, USA. It is probably best known for its indoor rowing machine, which can be found in most gyms and is considered the standard training machine for world-class rowers. It also manufactures oars for sculling and sweep rowing (under the name Dreissigacker). Its products are shipped worldwide. Competitive rowers never refer to the machine as an "indoor rower," but use the older name "erg" (short for ergometer).
The company was founded in 1976 by rowing brothers *** and Pete Dreissigacker. The two brothers trialed for the American team for the 1976 Summer Olympics and while preparing, they modified their oars with carbon fiber in an attempt to go faster. When they were not selected for the team, they founded the company and started selling carbon fiber oars. Their first office was in the back of a bread truck until they bought a farm in Morrisville, Vermont, USA.

Actually are over 80% of all indor rowing machines from concept2 - please give us the possibility!

    I doubt Garmin will support gear you buy from another company. Keeping up with every product on the market would be a nightmare.

    Easy solution: Convert the csv file to a tcx file.

    Concept2 CSV -> TCX

    I am starting to look at this. I have so far manually converted one of my CSV workouts on the rower to a TCX file (heartrate is just dummy data as I haven't hooked my polar heartrate monitor up on the C2). Garmin connect will import the file ok, but for some reason it wont display any graphs. I suspect this is something to do with me including no track info.

    I'd be interested in seeing what a tcx file looks like taken from a run on a treadmill using a footpod with GPS switched off if someone has one, as that would closely mirror what a tcx fil from the rower should look like. But anyway, here is where I'm at so far - see attached.

    I plan to develop this into a cmdline tool to start with in Windows .Net, followed by a more full-fledged app for OSX once I've finished prototyping in .Net.

    Hope it will help someone.

    Cheers
    Jonathan

    Which tool are you using for converting?
