Unable to upload activity

Did a run this AM, went to save it and had the Activity minutes animation go off during save.  The run never made it to garmin connect, but it is in my history.  I pulled the fit file but now get the following message: One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance

  • Are you using Firefox or Safari or any non-Chromium browser to import activities? Currently, that is an issue as discussed here - Problems uploading .fit file

    If that is the case, the workaround is to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

    If you're already using Chrome or Edge and still have this issue: then you can try to repair the file using FIT File Viewer

    If it still doesn't work, zip then attach the file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable. 

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
  • Using Chrome.

    The fit file viewer repaired the file ID!
