Unable to Upload .tcx files from trainer after completing the ride on 09/13/2025

Unable to Upload .tcx files from trainer after completing the ride. Everything was working fine up to September sixth, then when trying to upload the trainer TCX file on September 13th, it gave a message of "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.". Uploading to STRAVA works fine. I use GARMIN as the system of record, for outdoor rides and indoor trainer rides. It appears that this has been a previous challenge, how did it get fixed then, is it similar in nature now?

This is a trainer TCX file that has always worked since 2016.

Are you using Firefox or Safari or any non-Chromium browser to import activities? Currently, that is an issue as discussed here - Problems uploading .fit file

If that is the case, the workaround is to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

If you're already using Chrome or Edge and still have this issue: then you can try to repair the file using FIT File Viewer

If it still doesn't work, zip then attach the file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Im still having the same problem, i download TCX files from wattbikehub to pc, but then cannot upload these onto garmin connect, it used to work fine
