Not to state the obvious, but it's probably because - as mentioned in the other thread - you are using an old, unsupported browser which doesn't show the sidebar menu properly in the first place. (The menu items are invisible)
If you can't even see the menu properly, how can you be sure there's no link to the page? Hovering over the blank spaces to hunt for links isn't quite the same as looking at the menu as it was meant to be seen.
(How do you think I found the link in the first place? Obviously I am using a newer brower and I can see the link)
