Hello,
my Instinct's battery died while recording a hiking activity.
It usually saves it before shutting down but this thime the activity shows up as "Invalid".
Is there a way to recover it?

Try running it through FIT File Viewer—it works in the browser and can often fix corrupted files. I tested your file, and it imported successfully into Garmin Connect.
Just be aware that there is an issue if you try to import the repaired file using Firefox or Safari. Edge or Chrome should work fine.
Will probably be shorter than you expected, due to power loss.
