Problems uploading .fit file using Firefox or Safari

Getting error message trying to upload a .fit file that was produced by Garmin ?? Never had that problem till today

I can confirm that it depends on the browser. I tried on my MacBook, Chrome works fine, Firefox and Safari give an error message.

To all:
Try uploading it with Microsoft Edge, this works for me now.
I'm using Firefox and this stopped working for me since this week.

I am having the same issues with TCX and GPX files. For the last 2 days, absolutely no files will upload and nothing is wrong with the files. Something has clearly broken in Garmin's uploader.

Try uploading it with Microsoft Edge, this works for me now.
I'm using Firefox and this stopped working for me since this week.

Same problem here in Germany. Not running with IOS since yesterday. In Wednesday there had been no problems. Tried today the file from Wednesday again, and today it’s not working. Seems to be a problem by Garmin?

As mentioned before, the response on Firefox and Safari is immediate, there is not even a network request going out. If you try to upload a faulty .FIT file in Chrome, at least a network request is made (returning a 406 error code).

Netherlands 9:15 CET. I can not upload a gpx file. Connect says there is an error. Try again later..... I converted the file into other formats (tcx / fit) without succes. I even tried correction tools as JaVaWa. Are there problems at Garmin? Glad Strava is always there as a reliable website. Always up and running.

Try using Chrome of Edge, see forums.garmin.com/.../problems-uploading-fit-file
