Hi,
I've tried to upload the .fit file of my activity to Garmin Connect, it says: "The system did not accept one of the files. Ask the support department for help."
Could you please help me with this?
Thank you in advance.
Jakub
You can try to repair the file using 3rd-party tools, such as FIT File Viewer or FIT File Tools. Both of these run in the browser and require no additional software. If you're still unable to import the activity into Garmin Connect, attach the file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.
@seilogramp: Many thanks for your reply. I've tried both (FIT File Viewer and FIT File Tools), both seems to be OK. But still not possible to upload my fit file via Garmin Connect Web.
Thanks for your help.
still not possible to upload my fit file via Garmin Connect Web.
Your fit file is not an activity, it's a course. Is that what you expected? I can import this as a course without any issues.
It is actually 2 activities (from 2 different edges) merged i lnto one.
Deicon, could you post the 2 non-merged individual FIT files? Merging fit files does not always work correctly.
Alternatively, you can convert the fit file you have to a GPX file then import it as an activity (I used Garmin Basecamp to test). However, it will be missing most of the metrics you expect from an activity. I tested in Chrome and Edge. Firefox and Safari currently having issues as many have reported here - Problems uploading .fit file - Garmin Connect Web - Mobile Apps & Web - Garmin Forums
I have the same issue here
What exactly? Did you try to merge 2 activities, like Deicon did? If so, attach them here so we can see what is going on and try to help you.
