Can a feature be added to Garmin Connect Web (and the Android/iPhone apps) to allow the duplication of past races in the calendar.

Every year, I compete in the same cross country leagues and championships (at least 17 races) and have to enter each race manually each year.

I can duplicate a future race and change the location but it would be much easier and more accurate to duplicate last year's corresponding race.

I can duplicate past race events that I created myself, without any problems, though another user reported he could not do it either. Thanks for your reply trux, that's exactly the behaviour that I see. I'm just experimenting like the other poster with duplication of future and past events and will reach out to Garmin support as it's ludicrous that shared events can't be duplicated (or even removed from my own calendar without removing it for everyone!!).

I share my activities with another running community named "FetchEveryone", it too has a searchable race database which allows events to be copied from one year to the next (the website actually prompts for this a month or two ahead of the next iteration), irrespective of the sharing status, it's a very useful function!

Did you try opening the past event, clicking the button "View Event", then "Edit Event" (on the triple dot menu, top right), and changing the date to your next race? It does not truly duplice the past event, but it moves it to the future date, so I think it might serve the desired purpose you are looking for.
