Does Garmin ever act on suggestions people make?

I have asked many times via the suggestions page, for Personal Records to be customisable (so you can have records recorded for the distances you want, not just the distances Garmin offers). I have also seen this mentioned on the forum several times, going back 9 years.

It would be so simple to offer, but nothing, nada, crickets!!

Garmin receives many ideas. While we wish we could answer each submission, it is not possible, and you may not hear back from us.

... there would be no way to prove that it was because of my suggestion. Could be because of my suggestion along with many others or could be something they had already planned on.
