Language Support

This question must have been asked before. However I did not find any search results when I used the search function on this forum.

here goes:

I have been wanting to get a GPS for a while. This will be my first GPS. I would like a hand held one where I can carry and walk around with if I need to. Also, I would like input language support in both English and Traditional Chinese. This means I would like to be able to buy Asian Maps and be able to input destinations using Chinese language. TOPO would be nice but I want the city too.

Is there such a GPS system? The store clerk tried to sell me Oregon 550, would it do what I need it to do? Sorry I have never owned a GPS and I am a little bit scared about committing the kind of money Oregon 550 costs without knowing it would be the right thing. :(

Which series will do what I want?
