Add support for a Withings wifi scale

Instead of me manually entering my weight & body fat, how about having some integration with the Withings wifi scale?

    Add me to the list of people who would love to see Withings support, and are very unimpressed with Garmins ignorance - really, Guys, at least respond, even if its just to tell us to bog off..........:confused:

    Please add support for Withings data! Would be great if Garmin tracked the Blood Pressure monitor too... GarminConnect would be a one-stop-shop.

    FitGenerator Mac and PC

    I have created a FIT file generator for Mac OSX (Tested on Lion) and Windows version (tested on XP and 7) .

    As a Withings Scale owner I wanted a way to be able to upload my percent of body fat numbers to the Garmin Connect website.

    This program will generate the FIT file with the data as entered by the user. The user must then manually upload the FIT file to the Garmin Connect website.

    Here are screenshots of the Mac and Window programs.




    I am trying to decide where to host the files for sharing.

    I'm also hoping for a Withings scale. It just makes sense with the Garmin Connect system. Do they have an exclusive contract with Tanita?

    I'll say it again.;) Tanita uses/licenses ANT+ and guess who owns ANT+.:eek: (hint: LOOK HERE)

    Now how much sense does it make to NOT integrate Withings?:confused:

    Totally agree with Withings support needed for Garmin site. I would have considered the overpriced Tanita, but it won't even communicate with the 405CX I have. Dang sure ain't going out to purchase a newer 610 just to be able to see the scales readings and upload to Garmin.

    I'm using another program now to communicate with my Withings scale and track my runs in more detail.
