Not everyone wants 'routes'.

A very large number of outdoor enthusiast love the Nuvi series.
But, once you offload tracks, you can never get them back on and visible as a trip log ever again it seems.

You would think you could since mapsource allows you to upload tracks to GPS. But the tracks are not visible with trip log visible option on.

Once request. Allow tracks edited via Map Source to be uploaded back to the GPS and actually be viewable on the unit again.

I would be happy even if there is a manual method. Please tell me there is a manual method available and I will follow the steps.

Or even a simple unit firmware update.

Take the temp.gpx (which seems to be your uploaded tracks from mapsource), and cycle it back into the hidden unit logs that make up the current.gpx (current.gpx being generated when connected to USB).

At the very least this would allow people to get uploaded tracks back on as visible trip logs.

Slightly more involved change.

- Package uploaded tracks into distinct gpx.
- Then via the GUI allow the user to pick a tracks/trip log set.
- Utilize your current maps management (click to use) and copy it over for the tracks/trip log management.
