Trouble with 765t - reboots upon loading maps

The unit attempts to start up, but after showing "Loading Maps." and displaying the green progress bar, it will shut down when on battery, or reboot if plugged into a power source.
It is also not recongnized by my computer in time before it reboots when connected via USB.

I have had this unit less than 1 month.
This is the second time it has become unusable.

I know the procedure for performing a Master Reset, which is what I did 2 weeks ago when this happened for the first time, but Master Reset every couple weeks is not an acceptable long-term solution.

I did some searches, but cannot identify this as a known problem. Any idea if there will there be a software update released very soon to address this type of problem or should I return it for a replacement unit?

I loaded all the latest software and maps as of a couple weeks ago.

Any help is appreciated.

    Same Problem

Have had trouble with this Garmin since I bought it. It always lets me down when I need it the most. Any suggestions?
