I just got the 400t and installed the updated software.
I asked when I bought it if I would need to install maps for the sled trails in NY.
They said no it's already on it, Is that right.?
Will I have to get a micro card if I do get different maps?

I was driveing (in the car) watching the screen and the arrow wouldent keep up with the streets.
I could pass a street ,but the pointer wouldent get to that street for another 10-20 secs.
I figurg its a setting or something??
Not much for instructions come with it.
Thanks

The map that is preloaded on the 400t is Topo U.S. 100K.

I would suggest to use a microSD card if you are installing supplementel maps.

As far as the streets displaying on that map, I pulled this from the FAQs:

TOPO U.S. 100K roads are based off of data which may be slightly off depending on a user’s location. Not all roads will display in error. Geographical Points of interest such as streams, contour lines, etc. will display accurately.

If more accurate road detail is required, please click on the following link and choose from one of the Garmin street navigational programs: http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/us/maps/ontheroadmaps. This software is intended for detailed road navigation and can provide more accuracy.
