Nuvifone G60 Info?

Any other G60 owners out there watching the Garmin forum? Any idea of any upcoming software release/service pack/upgrade? An upgrade with some additinal apps. would be nice.
A couple of questions as the owner manual is not very detailed. How do you check the amount of memory used/remaining on the permanent memory? Has anyone had any success loading documents (text, spreadsheets, etc.) on the phone? Thanks in advance

I am considering buying one of these. Is this the best forum for G60 information? Did you ever find the answer to your questions anywhere else yet?

Is it possible to flash the AT&T G60 with firmware for the Asian version of the phone? I'm not 100% sure, but I believe AT&T locked/removed some of the features (Google Local search, RSS feeds etc). I've downloaded the Asian firmware in Tarball format, but I'm lost as to how to flash it to the phone.

I'm in Canada and would be buying from Amazon.com as the G60 is now only $199 without contract.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
