Modify ACTIVITY TYPE and EVENT TYPE list

How do I modify the 'Activity Type' and 'Event Type' in the drop down list? For example, I want to remove some of the activities and events. Plus, I would like to add an activity, like Soccer.

You can't modify any of those.
