Garmin GPSMap76CSx user defaults

Hi all, I need to be able to save and re-use my user settings on my Garmin GPSMap76CSx.

I'm the GPS coordinator for my Ground Search and Rescue team and have 8 units to look after. I have to ensure they all have the same settings each time they leave on a search.

My hope is that there's something out there as a third party app to do this.

I am unaware of any program that can do this. The GPSMap units do not have an accessible profile to copy or write.

You would need a Colorado, Oregon or Dakota to make this possible.

Are you needing any special settings for the units beyond the normal defaults? If not, then just do a user data clear (it will erase all user data)

Turn the unit off and press and hold Page + Enter + Power. When asked if you want to erase all user data, choose yes, and it will be set to the factory defaults.
