Dear Garmin

Would seem like it is 1990 and not 2025 ...
I have been reading many threads on uploading GPX files to GC !

I cannot believe all the work arounds people are going to to get these uploaded to their devices>
I think its time Garmin makes the work around
Improve your error messages
dont make the system so sensitive ... Time data in GPX files ?

I used to have to load my GPX files ( from organisers of events ) through my iphone app and then transfer as they would not load through web
NOW even that "work around " doesn't work !

Sorry but I do not find garmin very customer centric ... I have dealt with your company locally for repairs and then the support on issues
Its your way or the highway .... and right now after many many devices .... im looking for the exit !
We the users pay a premium and YES i expect a simple loading up of a gpx file to be simple and straight forward

So my current dilemma is uploading a gpx file created by Chat GPT and one off an official bike guide website.

Dissapointed !

Can you describe your problem in more detail? I myself have no problem loading a GPX from an organization via IOS into connect and then onto the watch.

It works the same way in the web portal.

Just tried it on iphone 16 pro, IOS 18.5. No problem. Procedure as described by Chat GPT.

How to use the file

1. create a new text file laufstrecke.gpx.

2. copy the above content into it.

3. save the file.

4. import it into your running app or GPS device.

Works for me.

Thanks for reply.
I copied CHAT GPT into Notepad and then saved using the proper coding as a .gpx file.
Then on Web ... tried to import the file into GC ... ERROR message .
Anyways I will try again

Tried loading the file with the .gpx file extension and Garmin Throws this out
