Garmin Connect - Blood Pressure Dates Not In Sequential Order

If manually inserting data into Garmin Connect via the Blood Pressure page, the following is true:

  • 2:00am comes before 8:00am
  • The 8:00am reading was input first then the 2:00am reading was input second. A page refresh does not fix the display order.

I see how they're doing this. The oldest time is at the bottom and the most recent is at the top. Would be nice to have a toggle to sort it the other way around. Oldest first. In NA we read from top down.

  • In NA we read from top down.

Garmin is an American company. (I assume by NA, you mean North America?)

A vertical list being ordered with the newest items first doesn't imply that you don't read it from top to bottom, it just implies that the most recent items are supposed to be more important. The activities list in Connect (both the website and app) is ordered newest first by default and nobody minds.

In North America, there's a lot of things that are ordered newest first in a vertical list and most ppl don't seem to mind, including:

    - timeline-based social feeds

    - posts in these forums (and other forums)

    - transactions in banking apps

    - items on certain news sites (roughly speaking)

I'm not saying it necessarily makes sense in the case of the blood pressure page - maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. But it really has nothing to do with being in North America or reading from top to bottom. For what it's worth, the weight page (and others) is exactly the same, so it's clearly done on purpose.

If it was a graph with time on the x-axis and the items on the left were newer than the items on the right, you might have a point.
