Custom Exercises

Currently, there is not a way to add custom exercises to the Garmin Connect app. I use Excel to program for myself, and it works well, but it would be nice to have all of my health information on one app as well as have my workout on my watch. Due to there not being basic exercises such as Glute Ham Raise, Prone Leg Curl, Machine Chest Press, Ab Wheel Rollout, Weighted Sit-Ups, etc., I do not use the Garmin Connect app to program for myself. 

Other than this issue, I love my watch and it's capabilities. 

I have seen that this has been an issue for a few years, with many people requesting this feature previously. I would love to know when Garmin is going to roll this out. 

  • you think with them charging for connect+ they would incorporate this feature...Garmin is really advanced on some features and lagging way behind industry on others.....

  • Weighted Sit-ups are definitely a thing in Connect workouts. 

  • Oh, my apologies. I must have overlooked that exercise when I was trying to program for myself. Can you please also show me where I can select Prone Leg Curls, Glute Ham Raises, Hack Squat (done on Hack Squat Machine), Calf Raise on Leg Press, Ab Wheel Rollout, Banded Barbell Bench Press, Seated Good Morning, Good Morning Out of Pins, Tate Press, and Machine Chest Press as well? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

  • Exercise fixed list is a pain in the a**. I see it as a useless feature. I cant do a complete training, so what´s the use of it? Halo kettle is one basic exercise these days, and it´s not in the list. They dont give us custom exercises, and they dont improve the exercise list. I think Garmin is just interested in runners and trail runners, every other thing, it´s almost useless. i do boulder and rock climbing, also mountain expeditions. For the first ones tracking is reak bad, for expeditions, I cant sync without internet connection. I see problems in almost everything realated to my smartwatch. My next one will definitely be a Sunnto.
