Manual edited PR record aren't saved

Hello,

As I face lane compting inaccuracies during a swimming activity, I often manually edit my swimming PR to correctly adjust the way too often PR.

However, I now face a problem as adjusted PR are not saved. For exemple, I have a activity of a 40 minutes durations where I have set 400m, 750m, 1000m and 1500m PR.

The first PR was correct by tracking while I am trying to adjust the rest of them.

On Garmin Web interface, I can edit these PR out :

But upon reloading, the edits are gone and I am stuck with ridiculous times as I takes activity duration for these PR.

Any way to correct these PR ? Always a waste to skip such a good session !

I have tried multiples web navigator and on mobile web, without success. Also tried to delete and reupload the activity, without success.

  • The formulation on that Support page about Connect processing PR is new (only the last snapshot of the page at archive.org contains it), so if it really works, it must be a new functionality added recently, because I know for sure Connect did not process any PRs previously. Well, except of the Steps, but that's not the topic here. And perhaps the longest run/ride/swim, but that was also not the subject here.

  • Hmm, you are correct. I just imported a couple cycling activities that I had recorded on Strava, and Connect automatically recognized them as PRs.

That said, they were the Longest Ride and Total Ascent which would be easy for the system to recognize since it's just a single data point from the .fit file. While they'd need to analyze the entire workout for a time PR over a given distance.
