"Explore" function downgrade

Hello,
i just would like to get more information on the current downgrade of the explore function

While i understand that the "Explore"functionality requires a lot of IT capacity, i think that the current downgrade is a very bad technical solution. (you can only explore at a very detailed level, which implies that for example, if you are exploring Paris, France, the area shown (very center of Paris) account for no more that 1/10 of the population of Paris, and as most parks of Paris area are located at the periphery of the city, no way to capture them in the search. So this explore function does not allow to find the running routes and areas in cities you want to discover

Other implication, there is no way to follow up on garmin connect map the runs of a specific runner : for example Serge Girard, (who, btw, is sponsored by Garmin, and publicized on the french version of garmin connect) currently running through Europe is not to be found in Garmin connect unless you know where he currently is or has gone by.

when will we have the full explore functionality ? this one has really no interest.

Thank you for your answer, and i love my 405

    Totally agree

Here in DK/Copenhagen, there are very few people living in the center of CPH. This means that the new reduced level of "hits" levelled to the center means that there only will be a run visible every second day(1 runner).
Furthermore, I run between 10-25km every time I run, this means I cross the center but my run still don´t figure anywere - because I start outside the center. and I can't find new routes. I also love my 405, but the new "lack of features" are really bad.
Why make a tool like a gps watch when you can't compare to others?
