Tracing a GPS ?

How can you find a lost GPS unit ? I mean its a GPS cant someone some how find it in the woods ?

P.S. its a Colorado 400t

A GPS only receives, it does not send any location information so it cannot be tracked.

I would recommend you register the device if it is not already, and make sure your contact information is correct.

You would be surprised how many people will call support looking for the owner of a device they found.
