I can see all my activities in my Garmin Dashboard, but if I do a search on my postcode or town in Garmin Explore my activities do not exist, but they use to. They seem to have disappeared. I can see other Garmin uses from my town, but not me.:confused:
I know this is not ideal but it will work using a third party.When you upload you ride and save it select the option to share it on facebook or any of the other available social networking sites. Then when any of your friends or group see it they can view your ride,and or other rides you have saved,Maybe if you create a group and everybody shares their ride this way it is a possible way around the failure of Garmin Explore to do its job.
Or maybe if anybody from Garmin could let the rest of the forum know what is going on with Explore if any plans are afoot to mend the problems instead of letting users figure out for themselves temp fixesthis would seem like a better option.
Can't find activities that are "Untitled"
I posted this under a similar thread on the feature request section but this seems the obvious place!
I have tried searching for my own activities using explore and nothing comes up. All my activities are open to the public, have activity type = Running, and event type = uncategorized. I don't give them a title so they are all "Untitled". When I search with no criteria at all, except my postcode where loads of my runs obviously start and also my username, I get no results.
I just changed one activity to have a title of "test" and now that comes up in my search! Why do "Untitled" activities get excluded from the search? Why can't they be included? Is there a way to give every activity a default title other than Untitled (not that I want to do that, I'd rather the search worked to include them!)

Nothing seems to get resolved when we highlight an issue with GC. I can't even find myself using search anymore. It seems the issue is getting worse and worse. As more users join GC by any chance?
Just like my other moans, you can no longer keep up with your network of users training for the same event over the same courses as yourself! The raison d'etre of the device!!!
Come on Garmin....whatever you did to break this you need to fix it. I cannot locate any of my rides (by username) or my friends, even though we are doing the identical route. This worked so well all last summer. You need to revert back to that code.:mad:
Wow.. This seems like pretty basic functionality. I wanted to search for other people's ride times for a ride I participated in this weekend and cant find a single one. But, I used google and managed to find one. Its pretty sad when an exterior search engine can find stuff on your site but your built in search engine cant. I used to have a 305 and just got a edge 500.. I havent used a garmin product in several months and was looking forward to comparing my stats with other people's stats online - or downloading courses. I guess I am out of luck unless I use mapmyride. Motionbased was great, why did you guys not use their interface? (it worked)
There are currently limitations with Explore searches ?? Please Garmin Team ! fix this big problem!! its now 3months Back. is there no solution?

I find it beyond belief that Garmin continues to ignore this highly requested and previously incorporated (in MB) functionality. I've never seen an organization so blatantly ignore customer complaints. I find myself almost speechless with frustration.

Come on Garmin...at least give us some hope. You must have a release plan with this scheduled sometime. Even if you told us it'd be 6 months, at least we'd have something. You're asking a bunch of highly type-A people to just sit in limbo and expect us to continue to purchase and recommend your products? I LOVED my Edge back with MB. Anywhere I traveled I could easily find training routes. Now every time I slap my Edge on a bike it only serves to remind me of how much I hate Connect. I'd almost recommend a map and compass over the Edge now...at least then I could easily share my ride data with someone.
