No activities in Garmin Explore

I can see all my activities in my Garmin Dashboard, but if I do a search on my postcode or town in Garmin Explore my activities do not exist, but they use to. They seem to have disappeared. I can see other Garmin uses from my town, but not me.

    Hi,

Try to use the below link for your explore search.

    http://connect.garmin.com/explore#activityType=all&eventType=all&owner=fildes8&bbMaxLat=-34.996693206127006&bbMaxLong=117.88606882095337&bbMinLat=-35.006694366686574&bbMinLong=117.87385940551758&sortField=relevance&currentPage=1

There has been a temporary change in the size of the area you can search in explore which should be modified back to the old behavior soon. In the meanwhile I hope the link above helps you. Or if you know the vicinity your activities concentrate around, try to zoom in on the map to that area and then do the search.

    Hi Dixiefire53,
The link I posted above was specific for the original post.
I just went to explore and entered gulfport in the location and did a search and saw all your activities show up. Try that out and post back if it doesnt work for you.
  • can't see my activities in explore

I've made one of my activities public (unlocked it) but can't find it when I explore. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong ?

    Hi TWOSTAGE,

Please let me know the activityId for the activity you are referring to. Make sure you have given a name to your activity and its not untitled.
  • Hi Praachee,

The activity was untitled but I've since given it a name and it still doesn't appear. Here's a link to it :- http://connect.garmin.com/activity/21160567

I'm trying to search for it either by using the name of the nearest village : 'Slaley' or postcode : 'NE47 0'.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

    Cheers,

    Twostage.
  • No Activities for Me either

When I attempt to explore activities in the Boulder, CO area none show up for the last 7 days including mine. I can find activities in early December but that is all. This has been going on for at least 2 weeks for me.

    Hi TWOSTAGE,

The search area size for explore has been limited due to some fixes that are going on currently. I just tried doing an explore search by entering your username in the explore user name filter and your activities showed up. Please use that filter to do your searches for now.

I attempted this and the last entry that I can see for me is Dec 4 using the Explore Tab. My activities show under Dashboard but do not show under the explore. In my area, Boulder, CO, I cannot see any activities for anyone including me since Dec. 4

I can see my activities now as long as I put somewhere close in the 'Starting Near' box. If I leave it blank or with the default 'Current map view' I find nothing. That also applies to MartOwl's activities. I can find the ones on Dec 4 and before as long as I put in Boulder. Looks like to find someone's activities you need to know roughly where they are. Sounds like a search limitation or its looking at location first and then looking for activities for that person in that location.

p.s. I can find MartOwls newer activities by looking at the details of the Dec 4 one then clicking his name so it shows all his activities.
