Minutes per Mile? Please, just show me MPH.

What are the unit options?
Statute? What does it mean?

PS - The date format setting of "2009/12/27" is just freakin' odd, at least make it ISO8601 compatible and use dashes instead of the slash.
  • Statute means mile per hour, metric means kilometres per hour.

Minutes per mile is pace as opposed to speed which is miles per hour MPH

Date format where? Set GC preferences here -

    So what's "Statue UK"?
I'm British, in the UK, am a geek, and have never heard these terms.

Date format is under settings for the online Garmin Connect site.

Anyway, my real issue, is that I want to see speed not 'pace'.
  • Who knows? Blame it on the Americans, after all they invented 'British English'. But then the UK does have a mix of metric and statute.

For speed on the device, just set up the datafields appropriately.
Garmin Training Centre will give you both speed and pace so fill your boots.
Garmin Connect will give you pace for running and speed for cycling at the moment.
SportTracks and www.RunSaturday.com will both give you what you want
