I have a bike that I rode for over 1000 km before purchasing a Garmin Edge 840. How do I add those 1000+ km to the gear profile for that bike?
I have searched through these forums but could not find a solution other than to manually create an activity for that distance or add that extra distance to the bike name. Are those really the best solutions? I assume that the first option would always impact my 'longest ride' stat if not others and the second option is just lousy. Is there not a simple way to update the distance ridden value for gear in the database through the Garmin Connect UI? Seems like a simple fix for a frequently asked feature.
