Transfer from cd to device. How?

New here. I have a cd of Garmin maps. It asked for a "com" connection not a USB so I couldn't transfer during installation. So, I just put it on my computer. How do I transfer from my computer or CD over to the device (265WT)? I assume you can copy and paste?
