How to have different units on the web/app similar to what my watch can do?

Hi, the same applies to Connect Web and Connect Android App

On my watch (Fenix 7S PRO), I can set the units as such;

Distance
Kilometers

Pace/Speed
Kilometers

Elevation
Meters

Depth
Feet

Weight
Pounds

Height
Feet

Temperature
Celsius

Pressure
Millibars

Vert Speed
meters/hr.

But in Connect, all I have as option are

Measurement Units
  Statute
  Statute UK
  Metric

Which screws up settings the weight in my dumbbells exercises for example.

What are you guys doing to circumvent that problem?

  • Unfortunately you can't do anything about it. (Except constantly switch between units, I guess.)

As a Canadian that uses a mix of imperial/statute and metric, it's very frustrating.

If you search the forums, people have been requesting this feature for 10+ years, but so far Garmin has ignored us. It's strange as they obviously recognized the need for this capability on the watch itself a long time ago.

  • What are you guys doing to circumvent that problem?

    Convert the dumbbell weights to.kilograms.

  • Yeah. That's what I ended up doing (switching to imperial) before adjusting the new weights within the workout and then resync it to the watch.

One thing I would like though is for the workout on the watch to keep the entered weight next time without having me to do it in Connect then having to resync that updated workout to the watch.
