I purchased my Garmin Nuvi 750 about a month and half ago to help me when I deliver pizzas. I've had this problem where my Nuvi will freeze and lock up at completely random times (not physically moving/disturbing it) and it won't reset until it dies and I plug it back up. It won't respond to the power being turned off/on and the screen is inaccessible/frozen. Is there a fix (reset feature?) that I can use to help me out when this happens? Thanks in advance for any useful info.
Sliding and keeping the on/off button to the left for a couple of seconds hard resets my nuvi 760 when it hangs.
Mine freezes also from time to time. Last weekend it occurred more frequent than ever... Hard resetting as described above helps but i would like to know what is causing the problem: it just freezes for no reason while running un-touched.
Note: I use the latest software version 4.90 (dated september 23, 2009).
