I picked up the 1490T from Costco on black Friday and I just updated the software last week. It updated the maps and looks like everything updated smoothly (although it took a while).
Now, it seems the unit is a little sluggish. For example, I was able to type in addresses and names quickly before, but now I can't type as fast as it won't really register every letter push. There's no issue with calibration as when I type slower, all the letters are correct.
Also, I noticed that sometimes when the maps load, part of the screen is shifted right and looks to wrap back to the left side, but it's only like that for a split second and then everything snaps back centered. I didn't notice this before the update.
Anyone else see this? The unit still works, just that it's a little slower.
