GA 25MCX vs. GA 27C

Both cut sheets for the GA 27C and GA 25MCX state they're new and improved

Both units come with 8 feet of cable and MCX connector and both are 2.75"L x 2"W x .75"H. And the two units are approved for use with the nearly identical list of Garmin devices.

So, what are the differences between them and which in fact is the newer and most improved?

I'm sorry jrosedales - my apologies. :o

I guess that none of my questions really fit under fitness issues, but lacking any other appropriate forum, I just wasn't sure where to post them, and "The Water Cooler" seemed to me to be vague enough for generic questions concerning screen protectors, power adapters, how many channels, how many WAAS channels, etc.

in addition to contacting support directly, which by the way I have done a few times already.

Plus having just purchased a new Colorado 400i (yet to arrive) and a new Oregon 550 (can't open until Christmas) I still have lots of technical questions and I would prefer to find the answers here at a Garmin forum when I can't find them searching Garmin's knowledge base.

Thankfully, the user community has been very helpful in answering many consumers' questions and has provided detailed answers in a very nurturing manner.

It is certainly okay for you to post questions about products that are not Fitness or Outdoor, and the water cooler is an appropriate forum for these posts. We just want to make sure users are directed to the appropriate place if they need assistance from product support.
