MapMyRide Export to Garmin Connect

I had initially posted this question in the Cycling subforum, as it's cycling related, but it was recommended that I repost the question here.

I've been a long time MapMyRide user, and with the receipt of an Edge 500 for Early Christmas, I'm now looking forward to using Garmin Connect. The problem is, I've got two years (and 2500 miles) worth of data on MapMyRide. Now, it seems that I can export a file from MMR that's a .CSV. Is there any way to import this data into Garmin Connect?

Unfortunately a CSV (comma separated values) file cannot be read by Connect. The only files it currently supports is TCX, FIT and GPX.

MapMyRide exports files in TCX, GPX, and CSV formats as of 2011 (or prior).

I tried importing a gpx file from map my ride and the only message i get from garmin connect is UNDEFINED
Can anyone please shed some light on this, i am frustrated....
