First of all... I have used Garmin products since early-mid 90's when they first started to get popular in the consumer world, so I am a fan... but....
I got a new Nuvi 765T back in June 09, have followed the directions on how to charge/discharge the unit, and now only 6 months later, my battery will not charge or it will not hold charge. It keeps coming up with "battery low" all the time not matter what I do.
Anyone else with this problem and/or solution....? I really don't want to send it to Garmin because they will probably replace it with a refurb and that is not what I got...... They won't replace it with a new unit which is what I paid for...
Here is what I got when looking at the service menu...
SW ver 3.60 nuvi765 V8 4GB P1 S3 330MHz
Batt current = 0
Batt voltage = 3509
Battery = low cap
Batt capacity = 8%
This just after charging it for at least 4 hours...
Anyone else having this issue...???
Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the quality of this product...:mad:
