Feature Request > Garmin Connect < Is Garmin missing a trick with Dexcom Data ?

The newly released Dexcom Data field app from the IQ store works very well for me with Dexcom G7... Thank you for this, I've been waiting a long time for an official solution for Dexcom...

HOWEVER... It would be REALLY useful if I could see my data values in my Activity report / Charts following a ride on both the Garmin Connect online & Phone app...

Could we please have a way to record this data stream for display in GC Activity report - I would like to overlay this data with other Charts for analysis following a cycling activity...

Looks like the official Garmin Dexcom CIQ data field doesn't support writing data to the activity FIT file.

If you want to request that feature, the best way would probably be to open the app link and click Contact Developer / App Support.

You could also try one of the 3rd party CIQ fields with Dexcom support - both of the following fields support writing data to the activity FIT file (to be displayed in the Connect activity data):

Thanks for the suggestion - I sent an email to the developers and received a prompt reply...

We.... "have created a feature request ticket to evaluate the possibility of adding this functionality to our app."

Regarding the 3rd party apps - I have tried them in the past and found them lacking in connectivity and consistency... The "Garmin" data field is easy to set-up and doesn't drop out - It just works, which is what I was looking for....
