I have a corrupted multisport fit file. I see that this appears to be a relatively common problem with external HR data. I'm having trouble figuring out how to fix it with Fit File Repair Tool, as the whole thing is being read as a cycling activity instead of a triathlon with two transitions. Does anyone have any advice?

Looks like session 2 should be cycling, session 3 should be T2, and session 4 should be running. Then we are missing T1.
Ran this through FFRT and at least it's closer to reality, but still missing T1

You could just go with that and use the "Edit Legs" feature of Garmin Connect Web to add T1 to your activity by dividing the end of the swim and calling the new leg "transition."
I did and got something like this, just guessing from the map where T1 should be at around 32:24
