First of all hello guys,
Is it possible to use the sat terrain maps on my Nuvi 310 ( yes I know its crappy ) I have an anccient GPS 12 aswell which is my main one. I usually only use my GPS for navigation when we are offroad.
So it would be really cool to have a sat terrain map on the Nuvi to see excatly where I'm going offroad in the desert and what lies ahead.
Total n00b when it comes to maps and all. I did read some threads and think someone is already doing it but really didn't get it.
I live in Dubai, UAE and its a small country and just need the uninhabited areas with the highr the zoom the better.
So is this even possible to use lets say google terrain maps in the Nuvi. If so can someone please lead me to a thread or explain in real layman terms step by step that needs to be done.
