Garmin 765T volume question

Hi, I had a Garmin in the past, the volume was loud enough to hear the voice prompts with the radio on.

I bought a Lincoln Aviator it had a built in GPS, so i sold the Garmin.
Now i downsized my SUV & bought a Garmin 765, With the volume at 100% i have to close the windows & turn the radio volume all the way down to hear the Garmin's voice prompts.

My question, is this normal or is there something wrong with the 765s speaker?

I noticed that the volume on my 265WT is much louder than my 765T... I don't know why as they are both adjusted to 100 percent. Apparently Garmin has a firmware update to fix this. Anyone know where I can find this update?:(

It will allow you to modify the TTS voice volume. It is a simple modification to the VPM file in the Garmin/Voice folder. Check it out.
