I have used Garmin for a few years now and am wanting to upgrade to a newer Garmin unit. NB.My current model is the 'Garmin streetpilot C510 deluxe).
I have always moaned about not being able to select an "Ignore 'B' roads unless absolutely neccessary" option (as on MS Autoroute) because even though I select the 'Fastest route' option it still occasionally insists on taking me through single lane 'B' country roads instead of sticking to main roads; which definately are not the quickest route 9 times out of 10.
Do the modern Garmin units have a more intelligent route selection? ie. the addition of an ignore unneccessary 'B' roads option?
If so which models have this option? (for £200-ish or less)
