new version of plugin not available for Win2k

I'm a linux user. I load my rides to Connect via VirtualBox and Win2k.

Connect now tells me I HAVE to update to the new version of the plugin... but the new version does not run on Win2k.

Is there any reason why Connect cannot use older versions of the plugin if the user isn't running XP or newer?

I guess the answer is 'no' then!

Yet another nail in the coffin for the Linux user! No way am I upgrading the Windows OS just to upload to Connect.

I don't necessarily expect to be be able to use any new features in Connect, but it would have been nice not to have been prevented from using it! Surely there's a way to allow the older plugin to be used?
